HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is popular as a printing support material in conjunction with ABS. HIPS has the same print parameters as ABS, making it an excellent dual extrusion kit. Supports can be removed from the HIPS with d-limonene, leaving no support marks on the model.

Not only is HIPS great for printing supports, it also has less print shrinkage, making it an excellent choice for print sizes demanding. HIPS is lighter than ABS and is perfect for low weight models.

Advantages of HIPS Bestfilament:
- HIPS does not absorb moisture, it better tolerates environmental conditions, it can be kept open longer without packaging;
- Matte texture visually smoothes the layers and roughness of the print;
- Low shrinkage ratio;
- Soft, lends itself well to mechanical post-processing
- Resistant to tearing;
- Does not contain carcinogens, harmless to health and can be used for the production of dishes;
- Resistant to acids and alkalis;
- Differs in high electrical insulating ability.
