Watson (SBS - styrene butadiene copolymer) is a tough, flexible and heat-resistant plastic. The most popular plastic for prototyping, light transmission, engineering and mechanical applications. Because Watson is nearly transparent, it is ideal for printing lamp shades, transparent prototypes, bottles, and more.

Watson's modulus of elasticity is much lower than that of ABS, the printed parts are more flexible, and the filament will not break or break during printing, even if it is fed into the extruder at a 90-degree angle. There are other types of flexible plastic: Bflex and bfgummy.

Recommended print settings for Watson Bestfilament:
- Extruder temperature: 230-260 ° С;
- Table temperature: 60-100 ° С;
- Model blowing: No (may be required for small parts);
- Printing speed: 40-60 mm / s;
- Retract: Yes;
- Shrinkage when printing: 0,4%;
- Solvents: D-limonene, solvent, dichloromethane;
- Operating temperature: from -40 to +80.

Tips from Bestfilament:
To achieve the "glass effect" print in vase mode, treat the finished model with limonene, dichloromethane or solvent.
Too tight plastic feed can squeeze soft filament and interfere with printing. In such a case, manually loosen the bar feed springs.
To improve the adhesion of the plastic to the platform coating, we recommend using a film, glue, varnish.
If the plastic is wet, we recommend using a dryer.
